에스파 다섯 번째 미니앨범 ‘Whiplash’는 10월 21일 발매되며, 타이틀 곡 ‘Whiplash’를 포함한 다채로운 장르의 총 6곡으로 구성되어 에스파만의 유니크한 음악 색깔을 만끽하기에 충분하다. 


에스파는 지난 5월 발매한 첫 정규 앨범 ‘Armageddon’(아마겟돈)의 타이틀 곡 ‘Supernova’(슈퍼노바)로 국내 최대 음악 사이트 멜론(Melon)의 서비스 시작 20년 만에 역대 최장기간 1위 신기록을 기록, 역대급 성적으로 폭발적인 신드롬을 일으켰던 만큼 새로운 앨범으로 보여줄 활약에도 기대가 모인다.
