메이딘(MADEIN)이 9월 3일 데뷔 EP ‘상승’으로 케이팝 씬에 출사표를 던진다. ‘올라간다’, 그리고 ‘항상 이긴다, 승리한다’는 복합적인 의미를 담은 ‘상승’은 메이딘만의 이야기를 만들고 꿈을 향해 다 같이 나아가겠다는 마음을 담았다. 

 

WE MADEIN U

메이딘은 마시로, 미유, 수혜, 예서, 가은, 세리나, 나고미 다국적 멤버 7인으로 구성됐다. 7명 중 6명이 걸그룹 서바이벌 프로그램에 참가했던 멤버들로, 팬들의 사랑으로 그룹이 결성될 수 있었다. 팀명 ‘MADEIN'은 팬들의 사랑으로 만들어진 팀임을 잊지 않겠다는 각오를 담았다. 메이딘의 데뷔 EP ‘상승’은 수많은 꿈과 소원이 만들어낸 앨범으로 가늠할 수 없는 마음이 담겨있는 만큼 모두의 다짐이 남다르다.

 

신보에는 지금 이 순간의 설렘과 애틋함을 담아낸 ‘UNO’, 서로 다른 매력의 일곱 소녀가 음악으로 함께 모인 이 길을 믿겠다는 ‘DADARIDA’, 함께할 때의 시너지로 현실의 고난과 역경을 헤쳐 나가게 해주는 ‘DOPAMINE’, 마시로, 예서 둘만의 작사로 그동안 그리고 앞으로도 함께해 줄 팬들에게 보내는 응원과 위로의 메시지를 담은 ‘TIMELINE’ 등 총 4개 트랙이 수록됐다.

 

타이틀곡 ‘UNO’는 순수한 목소리로 설렘과 아쉬움을 노래하는 메이딘의 하모니와 함께 "Stutter House"와 "Jersy Club"의 신선한 조화가 어우러져 메이딘의 앞으로의 성장에 대한 기대를 한껏 부풀어 오르게 한다.
