드리핀(DRIPPIN)이 여름 동화 같은 다섯 번째 싱글 앨범 [Weekend]를 발매했다.

 

이번 싱글 앨범 [Weekend]는 여름을 닮은 청량한 보컬의 타이틀곡 ‘Weekend’부터 설렘의 감정들을 섬세하게 담아낸 ‘Fly High’, 파워풀한 리듬감과 전개를 보여주는 ‘TIME’까지 드리핀(DRIPPIN)만의 다채로운 매력들이 가득 담긴 앨범이다.

 

타이틀곡 ‘Weekend’는 청량한 Electric-Guitar와 그루비한 Bass-Sound가 주가 되며, 후렴구의 반복되는 멜로디가 인상적인 Emo-POP 장르의 댄스곡이다. 가슴 떨리는 감정을 표현하듯 신나고 시원한 사운드에 드리핀(DRIPPIN)의 매력적인 보컬이 더해져 조화를 이루며, 지루한 일상 속 여행을 떠나며 그 안에서 느껴지는 기분 좋은 힐링과 자유로움을 가사로 담아냈다.

 

이번 뮤직비디오는 드리핀(DRIPPIN)이 함께 떠난 여행 속에서 즐거움을 만끽하고 힐링하는 모습들을 담아냈으며, 드리핀(DRIPPIN)의 소년미와 자연의 풍경들로 한편의 여름 동화를 만들어냈다.

또한 뮤직비디오 속에 녹아있는 다양한 요소들이 앨범의 구성들과 어우러져 팬들에게 특별함과 재미를 선사할 예정이다.

 

두 번째 수록곡 ‘Fly High’는 밝은 무드의 코드 진행과 섬세한 편곡이 어우러진 Teen-POP 장르의 곡으로, 후렴구의 Kick과 Bass가 끌어내는 벅차오름과 Synth-Line이 결합하며 해소되는 클라이맥스의 대비가 인상적이다.
