지난 4월에 데뷔한 글로벌 K-POP 아이돌 그룹 XODIAC(소디엑)이 4개월만에 2nd Single Album <XOUL DAY>을 발매했다. 이번에는 타이틀곡 ‘HEYDAY’, 그리고 ‘CREME BRULEE’, ‘WONDERFUL TONIGHT’ 총 3곡이 수록되었다. 


‘HEYDAY’는 아홉 명의 별들이 무대 위에서의 빛나는 이 최고의 순간의 모든 장면들을 X-BLISS와 함께 이 노래에 담아 영원히 간직하자라는 의미를 담은 팬송이다. 강력한 킥과 베이스 위에 몽환적인 신스가 어우러져 신비하면서도 꿈꾸던 최고의 순간을 마주하는 청량한 감각을 불러일으키고 후렴에서 극적인 반전을 선사하는 멤버들의 화음과 보컬 신스가 곡의 매력을 극대화하고 아웃트로에 나오는 기타 솔로는 찬란한 최고의 순간의 극적임을 벅차게 표현해 준다. 


수록곡 ‘CREME BRULEE’는 멤버 자얀, 범수, 웨인, 다빈, 리오 5명 유닛으로 참여하고 ‘WONDERFUL TONIGHT’는 렉스, 현식, 규민, 씽 4명으로 참여함으로서 곡마다 다양한 멤버 조합으로 진행해 소디엑의 무긍무진한 매력을 보여준다.


특히MV는 드라마 형태로 촬영하여 수록곡 3곡 음원이 OST처럼 들려 드라마틱한 느낌이 더해진다. 첫번째 미니앨범에 이어 소디엑은 두번째로 연기 도전해 어라운더 아티스트의 면모를 뽑낸다.
