에이스(A.C.E)가 2월 22일 여섯 번째 미니앨범 <My Girl : ”My Choice”>를 발매한다.


에이스(박준희, 이동훈, 와우, 김병관)는 2023년 가을, 싱글 ‘Effortless'와 'Angel'을 차례로 선공개 하며 활동의 신호탄을 알렸다. 이번 앨범은 군 복무 후 선보이는 여섯 번째 미니앨범으로 약 2년 반 만에 팬들 곁으로 더 깊어진 음악과 스토리텔링으로 찾아왔다.


이번 앨범은 ‘존재의 이유’에 대한 깊은 고찰과 더불어 모든 존재의 본질이자 핵심적인 힘을 의미하는 코나투스(Conatus)를 러브스토리에 담아 에이스 특유의 편안한 음악으로 풀어 내었다.

부드러운 음악과 폭넓은 가창력으로 대중들에게 편안하게 들려주는 리스닝 앨범에 가깝다고 볼 수 있다. 그동안 에이스가 보여주었던 강렬한 퍼포먼스가 아님에도 미디엄 템포 음악 속에서 화려하고 부드럽게 수를 놓는 에이스의 성숙한 퍼포먼스에도 주목하게 된다.

타이틀곡인 ‘My Girl’은 선공개 곡 ‘Effortless'와 'Angel'과 같이 국내 팬들과 글로벌 팬들을 위해 한글 버전과 함께 영어 버전을 수록하였다.
