차은우(ASTRO)가 데뷔 8년 만에 첫 솔로 앨범을 발매한다.

 

차은우가 전곡 작사에 참여한 첫 번째 미니 앨범 <ENTITY>는 아티스트 ‘차은우’와 차은우의 본체인 ‘이동민’으로 느끼는 다양하고 솔직한 감정들과 '나의 모든 면을 인정하고 솔직하게 살아보겠다'는 의지를 담았다.

 

‘개체’라는 의미를 가진 앨범명 ‘ENTITY’는 비밀스럽고 편안한 공간이자 솔직한 모습을 가장 잘 보여줄 수 있는 장소인 ‘집’을 활용해 ‘서로 다른 성격을 가진 이동민의 집들로 다양한 모습을 보여주고자 하는 의지'가 담겨 있다. 

 

<ENTITY>의 타이틀곡 ‘STAY’는 인트로부터 잔잔하면서도 강렬하게 흐르는 어쿠스틱 기타 연주가 돋보이는 컨트리 팝 곡으로, 사랑하는 사람과의 이별 후 슬퍼하는 모든 이에게 건네는 위로의 메시지가 담긴 가사는 이동민이 현재, 가장 크게 느끼고 있는 그리운 감정을 여지없이 표현해 담아 냈다.

 

또한 이번 앨범에는 겉모습은 화려하지만 외롭고 공허한 마음을 담고 있는 ‘WHERE AM I’, 감성적인 보컬로 첫사랑의 마음처럼 풋풋하고 설레는 마음을 표현한 ‘너와 단둘이’와 큰 상실감에 모든 걸 포기하고 반항적으로 살겠다는 마음을 부드럽고 강렬하게 표현한 ‘Fu*king great time’, 주변의 소중하고 사랑하는 사람들에게 전하는 긍정적인 가사를 담은 ‘You’re the best’를 담았다.

 

여기에 CD에서만 들을 수 있는 오랜 시간 함께 해오며 나눈 소중한 추억과 애정 어린 마음을 전하는 ‘Memories’까지 앨범에 담긴 의미대로 다양한 이야기를 통해 이동민의 솔직한 모습을 보여줄 예정이다.

 

데뷔 8년 만에 첫 솔로로 전 세계 팬들의 많은 관심을 받고 있는 차은우는 이번 앨범으로 지금까지와는 다른 매력을 선보이는 것은 물론, 자신의 솔직한 감정을 담아낸 <ENTITY>로 음악 팬들의 공감을 불러일으킬 전망이다.
