2023년 국내외 최대 규모 뮤직 페스티벌 무대를 통해 ‘SUMMER QUEEN’이라는 수식어를 얻게 된 권은비가 1st Single Album [The Flash]를 공개한다.

 

권은비(KWON EUNBI)의 1st Single Album [The Flash]는 뜨거운 여름날의 열기를 잠재워 줄 강렬하고 글래머러스한 사운드와 청량한 매력까지 느낄 수 있는 총 3가지 장르로 구성된 Summer Season 앨범이다.

 

타이틀곡 <The Flash>는 신화적 인물인 ‘페르세포네’를 모티브로 완성된 POP-DANCE 장르의 곡으로 꽃과 정원을 사랑하는 소녀, 모두에게 사랑받는 별(STAR)을 상징하는 WHITE와 저승의 여왕이 되기로 결심한 여인, 인형의 집을 탈출해 달려 나가는 노라를 상징하는 BLACK의 메타포를 믹스매치해 자유의지의 ‘선택’이라는 키워드를 현대적으로 재해석한 Modern-Mythology이다. 

붉은빛의 석류를 삼킨 ‘페르세포네’의 이야기를 베이스로 완성된 가사는 빠져드는 서로의 감정을 숨겨진 단어들을 조합해 정답을 찾아가는 낱말 퍼즐 형식으로 구성하였으며, 권은비만의 과감하고 에너지 넘치는 보컬과 퍼포먼스가 더해져 곡의 완성도를 높였다.

 

또한, 매 앨범마다 새로운 시도와 성장을 보여주고 있는 솔로 아티스트 권은비(KWON EUNBI)는 타이틀곡 <The Flash>를 위해 글로벌 시장으로 확대된 K-POP 씬을 이끌어가고 있는 프로듀서 진 총 4팀 (NEWTYPE, Full8loom, Noday & IRIS, Perrie) 과 함께 협업하였으며, 2000년대 초반 빌보드 메인스트림을 장식했던 Electro Teen-POP 장르의 곡 <Comet>과 여름밤의 짜릿한 자유를 닮은 Modern-ROCK 사운드 기반의 <Beautiful Night>를 수록하며 음악적 도전을 이어갔다.

 

한편, 올여름 10개월 만에 첫 싱글 앨범으로 컴백한 권은비(KWON EUNBI)는 더욱 성숙해진 매력으로 국내외 글로벌 리스너들의 마음을 사로잡을 예정이며, 다양한 활동들을 통해 팬들과의 소통과 만남을 이어갈 예정이다.
