‘포르테나’는 지난 6월 종영한 JTBC ‘팬텀싱어4’에서 준우승을 차지하며 탄생한 남성 4중창 보컬그룹으로, 카운터테너 ‘이동규’와 콘트랄토 ‘오스틴 킴’, 레쩨로 테너 ‘서영택’과 리릭 테너 ‘김성현’으로 구성된 각기 다른 색을 지닌 테너 넷이 뭉친 세계 최초의 포테너 팀이다. 멤버 전원이 ‘팬텀싱어4’ 예선에서 큰 호평을 받고 만장일치로 본선에 진출한 만큼 실력으로 인정받았으며, 결승 무대에서 ‘네아폴리스 (Neapolis)’와 ‘드망 니그지스트 파 (Demain n'existe pas)’ 등을 부르며 팀의 조화와 실력을 다시 한번 입증하여 화제가 되었다.
그룹명 ‘포르테나’는 행운, 미래, 운명을 뜻하는 이탈리아어 ‘포르투나(fortuna)’와 ‘네 명의 테너(four tenors)’를 조합한 것으로, ‘운명처럼 만나서 세상에 없던 네 테너만의 하모니로 크로스오버 계의 미래를 이끌어 나간다’는 포부를 담고 있다
‘포르테나’의 팀명으로 발매하는 공식적인 첫 번째 디지털 싱글 음원 'Miracle (우리라는 기적)'은 4중창으로 구성된 멤버들의 각기 다른 보컬 매력이 어우러지는 곡으로, 어반자카파의 '권순일'이 프로듀싱한 음원이다. 이 곡은 아름다운 피아노 선율에서부터 악기들이 하나둘씩 더해져 화려한 스트링 연주로 연결되고, 가창도 곡의 시작부터 끝까지 점점 웅장해지는 드라마틱한 구성을 갖고 있다.
서로를 운명적인 만남이라고 표현하는 포르테나는 ‘Miracle’이라는 곡의 제목처럼 멤버들 서로의 만남이 기적이고, 팬들을 만난 것 또한 기적 같은 일이며, 더 나아가 앞으로 마주할 더 많은 기적들을 노래하는 마음으로 이 앨범에 정성을 담아 준비하였다.
