갓세븐(GOT7)의 메인보컬 영재가 첫 미니앨범 [COLORS from Ars]로 솔로 데뷔를 알렸다.

갓세븐 멤버 영재로 보여줬던 모습과는 또 다른, 새로운 색깔들을 가득 담아낸 이번 앨범 [COLORS from Ars]에는 타이틀곡 ‘Vibin’을 포함해 총 7곡이 수록되어 있다.

앨범 타이틀 속 ‘Ars’는 영재가 작사, 작곡 시에 사용하는 작가명이다. ‘예술은 길고 인생은 짧다’는 뜻의 라틴어 명언 ‘Ars longa, vita brevis’에서 인용했으며, ‘예술을 하는 멋진 사람이 되고 싶다.’는 영재의 뜻이 담겨있다.

영재는 감미로우면서도 힘 있는 보컬로 채워낸 이번 앨범 전곡의 작사, 작곡과 프로듀싱에 참여하며 아티스트로서의 역량을 아낌없이 발휘했다. 오랜 고민과 작업 끝에 첫 셀프 프로듀싱 앨범이라고는 믿기지 않는 완성도 높은 앨범을 만들어 내며 솔로 아티스트로서의 첫발을 성공적으로 내디뎠다.
